Find A House Church

Virginia House Churches

Richmond, Virgina

Where: Meeting just west of Richmond, Virginia in the homes of the members.

We are an independent, conservative gathering of believers who hold to believer's baptism and the Doctrines of Grace. We are home school-friendly and design our gathering to be family-integrated (family stays together and learns together). Worship consists of psalms, hymns, prayer, music education, testimony and praise, Bible study, and reflection followed by the Lord's Supper, a group meal, and informal fellowship.

We are praying for other likeminded families to join as the Lord leads. We have had some recent visitors who have expressed an interest in continuing with us. Visitors are encouraged and welcomed.

We typically arrive at 10:00 AM, allow folks to get their food in the refrigerator or oven, and then gather in the meeting room at around 10:20. We meet from 10:20 until usually after 12:00 noon. The service is interactive, with the men taking the lead during the prayer and teaching times. Immediately following the teaching time we partake of the loaf and cup and enjoy a fellowship meal together. The remainder of the afternoon (usually until around 3:00 PM) is taken up with fellowship, discipling of children and young adults, and resting in the Lord.

All who come enjoy the therapeutic nature of the gathering. We are strong on the Bible and on expository teaching, but always seek to be gracious one to another. Please see our web site for further details and contact information.
